Brian D. Meakin, B.Comm, RI

Managing Broker

Brian Meakin started with Turner Meakin in 1982 and became President in 1990 when he acquired an ownership stake in the firm from the prior generation of the Meakin family (father, Dudley and uncle, Arthur). In 1993 he acquired 100% ownership. In 2022 he orchestrated and completed a seamless transition to the next generation, Mike Meakin.

Brian is a graduate (1980) of UBC’s Faculty of Commerce (now the Sauder School of Business) in the Real Estate Division (Urban Land Economics). Since 1993 he has been and remains Managing Broker, nurturing the growth of Turner Meakin through dedicated, and loyal client service.

Mike Meakin, Dip.T., R.I.(B.C.)

President

Mike has more than fifteen years experience in the commercial real estate industry. After transitioning to Turner Meakin in 2010 as a commercial Property Manager, he became President and Managing Broker in 2022-2023, representing the fourth generation of family ownership and the beginning of a new chapter for the firm. Mike has and continues to be actively involved in all aspects of Turner Meakin’s operations, and through his career has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of the business.

Mike holds a Diploma of Technology from BCIT’s Commercial Real Estate Program. He also holds Real Estate Licenses from the UBC Sauder School of business in Trading Services, Rental Property Management, and Broker Business Planning & Financial Management. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s Commercial Division, the Canadian Real Estate Association’s Commercial Council of REALTORS® and is a professional member of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia (RI).

Kelly Kellogg

Property Manager

Kelly Kellogg has worked indirectly in the property management industry since 1999, In 2015 Kelly completed the Rental Property Management course at UBC Sauders School of Business and has worked as a Property Manager for Turner Meakin Management. Kelly’s experience was in residential and commercial property management for the first three years. Since then, he has moved to a portfolio containing, commercial, office, retail, light industrial and warehouse.

Amanda Law

Property Manager

Amanda earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from The British Columbia Institute of Technology. Her professional journey began with Turner Meakin in 2019 as a Property Manager Assistant where she has gained valuable experience in the real estate industry. Her passion for property management led her to pursue her Rental Property Management license through the UBC Sauder School of Business, this accomplishment marked her transition into the role of Property Manager in 2022. Today, she manages a diverse portfolio which encompasses retail, office, and residential spaces. Her knowledge extends to both commercial and residential real estate.
Amanda's ability to communicate fluently in both English and Cantonese enables her to connect with a wide range of clients and tenants. Her dedication to excellence and commitment to providing top-notch property management services makes her an invaluable asset to Turner Meakin. Brad Thompson

Property Manager

Brad Thompson started off working in property maintenance for 10+ years before attending Langara College in 2015-16 to acquire his Property Management Certificate. After graduating from Langara, Brad immediately attained his Rental Property Management license through Sauder School of Business in January of 2017. After 2+ years working in residential property management, Brad joined Turner Meakin Management in November of 2019, starting in a combined residential and commercial rental management role. Currently he manages retail, office, and light industrial commercial properties, with a small component in residential.

Logan Li, B. COMM

Property Manager

Logan Li earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Victoria. He acquired his Rental Property Management and Real Estate Trading Services license through the UBC Sauder School of Business between 2017 and 2018. Following six years of managing commercial and residential properties on Vancouver Island, Logan joined the Turner Meakin Management team in July 2022. He oversees diverse properties—retail, office, and industrial. Logan is bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Barb Van

Accounting Manager

Barb Van earned a Diploma in Business Administration specializing in accounting in 1998 from Camosun College in Victoria. Barb has worked for Turner Meakin since June 2005 and is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions.
